honestly, though, bbc sherlock is all about the transformative power of loving someone. two broken people who find each other and heal each other’s wounds, simply by loving him, selflessly and deeply. and how that love endures, against everything the world throws at it, endures even in the face of their own insecurities and misunderstandings. it is so strong. it may be slow, and it may have some twists and hurdles, but it’s not fragile, this love of theirs. and it’s going to win out in the end.
