when Sarah is crying after almost being killed Sherlock whispers “you’re alright, you’re alright” so soft so concerned , meanwhile John is like “don’t worry next date won’t be like this 😉” 

You know, we think that Sherlock was lousy to all John’s girlfriends, but he was actually pretty kind to Sarah and Mary. Maybe he didn’t sabotage John’s relationships, maybe John is just a sucky boyfriend. With the exception of Jeanette. He totally hated her. But then she was the one going “Don’t make me compete with Sherlock Holmes!” Which makes me think she tried to make John choose.
