On the one hand, Martin isn’t very subtle and the things he says are the bi-est of things (including “we’re all a little bit bisexual don’t you think” which is the closest he’s come to actually coming out) and I think if someone flat out asked him to his face “are you bisexual” he’d probably be like “yeah, yeah I don’t see why not, not big into labels tho”
On the other hand I’m a fiercely closeted bisexual in real life because of the very real negative consequences coming out would have on my career and my family and idk about this speculation when it comes up, like he seems so comfortable in his life and sexuality and yet still refrains from owning that word and that seems a bit purposeful considering his position in the public eye
On the other, other hand I could see the way he interviews as being his way of coming off as bisexual without literally “coming out” because I could see him as being the sort of person who is like “why should I have to come out explicitly and explain that to you” and also he’s not big into labels and he never really modulates himself to come off as straight, he just says what he likes and we can interpret that however we like and it’s just grossly heteronormative to say he HAS to come out to validate his bisexuality
In short Martin is probably bi and I’m probably projecting and also taking this far, far too seriously, goodbye
